Commission Members
The Commission has 23 members who are appointed to two-year terms by the County Commissioners. The Commission’s members are:
• A member from each of Morrow County’s 16 townships
• Two representatives from the county’s villages
• Two at-large members, who can be from any part of the county
• One member representing Agriculture
• One member representing Fire & Safety
• One member representing Commerce

Executive Committee
This Committee includes the chairperson, vice chair, secretary and two other members, who serve two-year terms and are elected by a vote of the full Commission:

Committees
The Regional Planning Commission has four standing committees. The committees review requests, then present a recommendation to the full Commission for a vote. The Commission chairman also can appoint special committees, if needed.
Bylaws Committee
The Bylaws Review Committee meets in every odd-numbered year to review Regional Planning Commission's Bylaws.
This Committee reviews the Morrow County Subdivision Regulations to make sure the document is consistent with sound planning practices, the Morrow County Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the regulations of other Morrow County offices and departments.
In addition to at least five Regional Planning Commission members, the committee includes representatives from the County Engineer’s office, the County Health Department, Soil and Water Conservation.

Subdivision Review Committee
This Committee reviews all major subdivisions, planned unit development and any other subdivisions at the request of the Commission. The Committee reviews these requests within the framework of the county’s Subdivision Regulations, county, township or village zoning regulations and sound planning practices.
In addition to at least five Regional Planning Commission members, the committee includes representatives from the County Engineer’s office, the County Health Department, Soil and Water Conservation. The committee also has two non-voting members: the Commission representative from the township in which the proposed subdivision is located and a representative from the school district in which the proposed subdivision is located.

Variance Review Committee
This Committee reviews all variance requests within the framework of applicable regulations, including the county’s Subdivision Regulations. All variance requests must include a completed Variance Application Form.
In addition to at least five Regional Planning Commission members, the committee includes representatives from the County Engineer’s office and the County Health Department.The committee also has one non-voting member: the Commission representative from the township in which the requested variance is located.
